Amid an alarming rise in dengue cases across Kishoreganj, the Gurudayal Government College Branch of Chhatra Dal took proactive steps on Thursday (November 1) to protect students from this dangerous virus. They organized an extensive mosquito control drive on the college campus and in the residential hostel areas, aiming to curb the spread of dengue-carrying mosquitoes.
The initiative, led by Chhatra Dal senior joint convener Riyad Aziz and joint convener Abdullah Rocky Lalon, involved spraying insecticide across high-risk areas, a timely effort given the increasing dengue incidence. Party members joined in full force, working together to safeguard students’ health on campus.
Students across Gurudayal Government College expressed satisfaction and relief following Chhatra Dal’s preventative measures. Many praised the initiative as a vital step in combating the potential health crisis posed by dengue. “This initiative has been launched to protect our beloved campus and students. We must all be collectively vigilant to prevent health risks,” Chhatra Dal leaders stated.
This program is not only helping to protect the campus but is also raising essential awareness about dengue prevention. Chhatra Dal’s efforts have set an example for other institutions to prioritize health and safety, and their action has been widely appreciated within the college community.
